Marissa Mayer

Marissa Mayer is CEO and co-founder of Sunshine, a startup focused on making everyday tasks easier. Previously, Mayer served as CEO & President of Yahoo. At Yahoo, she led a full-scale transformation of the company — rejuvenating its culture, hiring more than 5,000 people, growing users to more than 1 billion people worldwide with over 600 million users on mobile, and transforming Yahoo’s business.  During her tenure, she also oversaw nearly 50 acquisitions and the creation of more than $40 billion of shareholder value

Prior to Yahoo, Mayer spent 13 years at Google, where she joined as the twentieth employee and first woman engineer. She played an instrumental role leading Google Search as well as Google Maps, Google News, and other consumer products. Previously, Mayer graduated with honours from Stanford University with a BS in Symbolic Systems and a MS in Computer Science, with a specialization in artificial intelligence.

Mayer is a member of the board of directors of Walmart, Maisonette, and Forward Health. She is also on the board of trustees for the San Francisco Ballet.
