Dr. Cecilia Tortajada is Professor in Practice in Environmental Innovation (Interdisciplinary Studies) in the University of Glasgow. Working on impacts of global changes, including technology, on water resources, environment, food, energy and societies. Advisor to major international institutions and multinational corporations like FAO, UNDP, JICA, ADB, OECD, IDRC and GIZ. Has worked extensively in countries in Africa, Asia, North and South America and Europe. Her work has been translated into eight languages. Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Water Resources Development. Received the highest award of the International Water Resources Association, the Crystal Drop Award.
