The Millennium Technology Prize nominations are evaluated by the International Selection Committee (ISC), composed of eminent professionals from academia and industry. To facilitate the work of the ISC, the Pre-Selection Committee screens the Millennium Technology Prize nominations for non-eligible submissions and invites external experts to pre-review the most promising nominations.

The decision of the Millennium Technology Prize winner(s) is made by the Board of Technology Academy Finland and is based on the proposal of the International Selection Committee.

Announcement of the 2024 Millennium Technology Prize winner(s) will be made on 4 September 2024.

The 2024 Millennium Technology Prize winner(s) will be awarded at the Award Ceremony on  30 October 2024. The Prize is presented to the winner(s) by the President of the Republic of Finland, patron of the Prize.
