Video: International Selection Committee chooses the Millennium winner candidate
“It’s a very hard choice because there is a wide range of outstanding candidates accross a wide range of technology topics. But we have a good breadth of experience on the team and we’ll do our very best to pick a strong winner” says Professor Nigel Brandon from Imperial College London, and member of the International Selection Committee for the Millennium Technology Prize.
After the thorough work of the Pre-Selection Committee, the Millennium Technology Prize nominations are evaluated by the International Selection Committee, composed of eminent professionals from academia and industry with broad knowledge and collective expertise covering the fields of the Prize.
The most promising nominations are subjected to in-depth evaluation executed in collaboration with external experts.

The winner of the Millennium Technology Prize 2024 will be announced on 4 September and awarded in Finland on 30 October 2024.
