Ilan Spillinger is Executive Vice President and Corporate CTO of imec. In his previous role of Corporate Vice President at Microsoft, Ilan was leader of the HoloLens Hardware and the Custom Silicon organization.
Before joining Microsoft in 2007, he was Distinguished Engineer and VP Advanced Processor Design at IBM Yorktown. In that role, he was responsible for the development of all power architecture-based processors at IBM. Before joining IBM in 2001, Ilan was with Intel and lead the CPU architecture of the first Centrino CPU. Ilan holds a PhD from the Technion, Israel.
