Marianna Kemell is a senior university lecturer of inorganic chemistry at the University of Helsinki. She received her MSc in physical chemistry in 1997 from the University of Oulu and her PhD in inorganic chemistry in 2003 from the University of Helsinki. Her research interests include atomic layer deposition and electrochemical techniques for making thin films and nanomaterials for solar cells and photocatalysis. She has about 170 peer-reviewed papers (h-index 42).
