Professor Nigel Brandon holds the Chair in Sustainable Development in Energy and is Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Imperial College London. His research interests are focussed on electrochemical devices for the low carbon energy transition, in particular fuel cells, hydrogen and energy storage, and he has co-founded successful companies in this space. He is an overseas member of the US National Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, and a Fellow of the Royal Society.
