The CEO of Technology Academy Finland, Maija Liiri, represented the Millennium Technology Prize in Davos this January, engaging with global leaders, innovators, and policymakers.

In an event hosted by the Finnish Flow, Maija Liiri delivered an inspiring keynote, emphasizing that the future emerges when bold innovation meets courage, capital, and collaboration. She highlighted how the Millennium Technology Prize champions transformative technologies that change life for the better – from climate and energy to health and digital inclusion.

“I truly loved the atmosphere there. People were open-minded and instantly ready for deeper conversations. Despite the ongoing geopolitical tensions, there was a strong sense of mutual support and encouragement — exactly the kind of spirit we need more of in today’s world,” Maija Liiri said.
